Meet Jack Blommesteyn: The Publisher

My name is Jack Blommesteyn and I am a student living in Newmarket. In 2016, I made an application to start this newspaper through "Ontario's Start a Summer Company Program for Students". After submitting a business plan and presenting it to the program's coordinators, I was awarded a small grant to start this enterprise. Over the summer, I will be meeting with a small business mentor who will help me learn about entrepreneurship and running a company.

This newspaper depends on local advertisers for its revenue. If you, or someone you know, are interested in purchasing advertising in The Town of Newmarket Bulletin, please contact me by emailing info@townofnewmarket.ca.  The Bulletin's advertising rates are extremely reasonable.

The revenues collected will primarily go towards the cost of producing The Town of Newmarket Bulletin and anything left over will go towards my savings for post-secondary education.
